CF11 Fitness

After a major renovation, Channel View Leisure Centre wanted to highlight their new state-of-the-art fitness suite CF11 Fitness.
The main focus was to promote an affordable, friendly, inclusive centre that would encourage anyone to join.We focused on creating a vibrant, simplistic design. Social media integration, exercise class filters and downloadable timetables making it easier and more accessible for customers to find information and engage with the centre.
Cardiff Commercial Waste

The Commercial Waste Services team wanted to increase their customer base and develop an engaging website in order to compete with local and national firms who offer similar services.
We focused on developing an informative and functional site by integrating educational videos and an events blog to keep customers up to date. The addition of a bespoke contact form embedded into the side of each page encourages customers to easily contact the team.
Outdoor Cardiff

Our client wanted to update their website to promote the wide range of parks and green spaces and outdoor amenities available in Cardiff while highlighting the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle. It was also key to endorse the health benefits and improved wellbeing of exploring the outdoors.
We focused on creating an engaging and aesthetically visual site by using image galleries to promote and encourage people to explore Cardiff and the surrounding area. Contact and submission forms were added to let the public create and view walking and rambling events. It was also important to the client that the site was informative and offered fauna and flora guides and downloadable maps.
Cardiff Dogs Home

With an increased number of visitors to Cardiff Dogs’ Home and more people wanting to volunteer as dog walkers, our client wanted a website where potential volunteers could sign up for training. They also wanted to promote responsible dog ownership to existing and prospective dog owners.
We focused on designing a highly dynamic website for both the client and the customers. The high demand of volunteer dog-walkers needing to attend an induction session meant that the inclusion of a booking form was essential. The lost and found notice board is a main feature of the website, and allows the client to upload images and a short description about each dog that they received and their status on being rehomed.
Cardiff and Vale Social Care

Our client represented a partnership of care and support workers across Cardiff and the Vale. The aim of the website was to promote the partnership and support growth and development within the sector with access to training and careers information.
We focused on designing an easy to use and colourful website, where carers could find helpful information and support. The career and information filters along with the integration of a site search make it easier for people to navigate and find the information that they need.
Foster Care Cardiff

It was important to our clients that their website would attract new foster carers while also highlighting the support and training available for current foster carers. There is also a drive to encourage carers currently fostering with private agencies to come to foster for Cardiff.
We focused on developing a helpful and information rich website that would be useful for both potential foster carers and current foster carers. Events and News were important features to include which will help to promote any training or recruitment events that the client has planned. Blog and video integration have been used to highlight testimonials, and contact forms make it easier for carers, or potential foster carers, to express their interest in the service.
Storey Arms

Our client wanted a new, dynamic website that would promote the activities and courses that Storey Arms offers, while emphasizing the beautiful location of the centre in the heart to of the Brecon Beacons. They wanted their site to be fully accessible and available on all devices, to be a place where teachers, parents and pupils could go for up to date information on the centre before attending a course or activity.
We developed a fully responsive and engaging website that highlights the facilities and accommodation at the centre and offers a plethora of information that is easy to navigate.
Glamorgan Archives

Being a joint archive service that covers six local authorities, it was essential that the Glamorgan Archives website was dynamic, engaging and easy to use. Our client wanted the website to appeal to a wide target audience and highlight their services in an interesting and informative way.
We focused on developing a simplistic and easily accessible website that would cater to a wide variety of people. We made sure that people could easily access information by adding an events feature that could be used to promote future talks directly on the homepage. The added blog feature was ideal for our client to publish news and stories about historic and archival findings, encouraging the public to return to the website to find out any up to date information or read the narrative behind some of the items in the archive.
Into Work Advice Service

Our client wanted a website where it would be easy to get information about back to work support across Cardiff. This meant it was important to include information on training, have access to career advisors, as well as guidance with starting up a business. They also wanted to highlight the ease of use for local communities, mainly focusing on vulnerable people while promoting and encouraging better education.
We focused on creating a clear, fresh feeling website that would be easily accessible to a variety of people while also underlining important information and services that the client offers. Social media integration and embedded video features help to create an engaging and dynamic site that makes it easy for jobseekers to get in contact.
Cardiff Digs

Our client provides information for students living in Cardiff and with a student population of 36,000 it was important that the information is clear and easily accessible to a wide range of people.
We focused on creating an engaging and easily accessible website that would be easy to navigate and appeal to a predominantly younger demographic. Social Media integration was an important feature that we included, making it easier for the client to update information and offer a platform for students to contact them.
Keep Cardiff Tidy

Our client wanted a diverse website that would enable them to give information to residents about Recycling and waste management. The site needed to highlight volunteering opportunities, information on waste management and have an interactive section that would be beneficial for school children to learn about recycling.
We focused on developing a website that was dynamic and engaging by adding images and informative videos to the homepage. The added blog/news feature was important for our client to keep the website updated with information and news. We developed an entirely dynamic section of the website that was targeted at school children to teach them about recycling, this area featured an animated story with interactive quiz elements.
Regional SafeGuarding Board

Our client wanted their website to provide easy access to current advice for a variety of people, ranging from children and young people to adults and professionals. It was essential that users could easily navigate information and download documents of guidance, legislation and protocol.
We focused on creating a website that was split between safeguarding children and safeguarding adults, making sure it was simple for users to navigate back and forth between the two. With the client having such a large and varied demographic we made sure that all content was easily accessible, clearly displayed and concise regarding key information. Due to the website having such a sensitive and serious nature we decided that including a ‘Report a Concern’ call to action was important along with a ‘Hide this webpage’ feature for any vulnerable users on the site.

Cardiff Register Office

As the target demographic was so varied our client wanted a website which would be easy to navigate and accessible for all. The main purpose was to highlight the ceremony services that Cardiff Register Office offer, while also providing information on the other services. We focused on creating a bright and visually engaging website that was easy to navigate and highlighted the services and venues that are on offer. The integration of the dynamic ‘Approved Premises’ list allowed customers to filter down prospective venues for their wedding, and the addition of the contact form allowed potential customers to enquire about services outside of regular operating hours.
Due to the importance of documentation for marriages, civil partnerships, births and deaths, it is paramount for the information to be displayed in a clear, concise way without containing too much legal wording. We achieved this by organising the content in to sections and adding lists for people to use.
EVAC

With the increase of public interest in emergency management within the city, our client wanted their website to be educational, concise and have search engine optimisation. This would allow potential residents to access the site under emergency circumstances. We developed a site that was easy to navigate and a hub of information for the residents of Cardiff. We integrated a map with filtered layers to highlight important points of interest around the city e.g evacuation points, defibrillators. This will be useful as an aid during a disaster and allows people to be prepared prior to any crisis.
Relevant embedded social media feeds were also added to the different sections of the site to keep people up to date on weather, traffic and emergency service information.
Cardiff Council Academy

Our client wanted a website that would promote the facilities and services that they have to offer. We highlighted the details of the training rooms and the equipment and tutors that are available to potential customers.A key part of the website was a course search bar that would allow the potential customers to navigate and search for specific training sessions. We decided to put this on the homepage to be one of the first things that the customer sees as it was the most important part of the site. We also dedicated a section of the site to include course navigation and highlighted the most popular courses.
We decided that it would be best to showcase the rooms for hire through an image library, which would help potential customers to visualise the training sessions before signing up.
We added a form to allow customers to contact the client easily about general enquiries, hiring a room or information about a course.
Volunteer Cardiff

The Volunteer Cardiff website was created to act as a hub for all volunteering opportunities in Cardiff. The search feature allows people interested in becoming a volunteer to browse by area and availability, whilst a Twitter feed and featured adverts on the homepage highlight the latest opportunities. There is also a support and development section for management of third sector organisations with links to training for volunteers and volunteer managers. Inspirational stories in the form of quotations and a video from volunteers help to encourage people to get involved.
Cardiff Harbour Authority

Additionally there is an educational section of the website showcasing the heritage and environmental significance of the Bay, as well as the Water Safety Code and opportunities to learn to sail.As a website designed to encourage visitors to the bay, Cardiff Harbour has plenty of well-chosen photos depicting the Bay’s highlights. There is also an embedded Twitter feed with the latest updates on news and events in the Bay.
Cardiff Central Transport Services

Cardiff Central Transport Services wanted to attract more commercial customers to make use of the services and equipment they have, which is suitable for a fleet of large vehicles. The focus for this site was to promote their commercial services as a convincing and competitive opportunity for commercial clients to service and manage their fleets. A slider showing aerial photographs of the facilities gives commercial customers a sense of the scale of operations CTS are capable of.The site also has a section tailored to the general public, focussing more on affordability, convenience and friendliness. Another important feature of the site is the booking calendar, which allows customers to book a servicing appointment online and receive a confirmation email.
Cardiff Adult Learning

The site also features a dynamic homepage. There is a drop-down navigation menu at the top and if a page is selected the other pages from the drop-down appear conveniently listed in a side menu on this page for easy access.
Tenants together

Our client wanted an engaging website to encourage council tenants to get involved and have their say on issues that affect them such as changes to services. To do this we designed the homepage to act as a newsfeed with side tabs allowing users to refine the feed to show upcoming events, recent posts and categories. The site theme is fresh and friendly with blue menus, plenty of images and green and blue font supporting the team’s latest rebrand.
Cardiff families

Our client wanted a site catered to 3 distinct audiences: professionals, young people and parents. We created these 3 sections with content relevant to each and made it easy to switch between them via a top menu bar. An emergency contact and advice page is also easily accessible via the top menu bar where it has a different coloured button with a warning symbol to make it clearly visible.
We also provided a ‘talk to us’ section with a message form and links to other ways of getting in touch. For the site theme we chose a bright colour scheme with coloured text blocks to give the website a child friendly feel.
24/7 services

Our client wanted a website which merged the different strands of services they offer: Telecare, the newly improved Meals on Wheels service and others, whilst retaining the distinct branding of each. They also wanted to emphasise the wide range of people using their products to change outdated perceptions of service users and promote people staying independent in their own homes. We achieved this by using a variety of photos, videos and testimonials demonstrating the different reasons people needed their services, and how they have benefitted from them. The site also promotes assistive technology products such as Archie and community alarms, as well as presenting a range of packages and service options to customers.
Bute Park

For the Bute Park website we needed to compile information on a range of different attractions and present it in a visitor-friendly way. We used a deep forest green theme to tie in with the Bute park logo and we used drone footage showcasing aerial views of the park as a background for the top section of the page, to create an eye-catching feature banner. The site is heavily image-oriented to show off features such as resident wildlife and plants for sale, and images are also used to advertise activities on the homepage such as attractions and education sessions. The top menu bar has large drop-down boxes which highlight essential information such as opening times and park rules.
